PLANA, a hybrid AAM aircraft developer, revealed that it has entered into a business partnership with MOVIATION, the provider of VONAER services, to foster mutual growth.
MOVIATION is a local UAM service startup that introduced its urban air mobility service platform VONAER in February this year. It offers various extra services for user convenience, such as booking and using air vehicles like helicopters and eVTOLs via the app, linking with ground transportation services, and running lounges.
The business partnership ceremony took place at PLANA’s headquarters in Giheung-gu, Yongin, with the attendance of Braden J. Kim, CEO of PLANA, and Shin Min, CEO of MOVIATION. The main goal of the business partnership is to generate new business opportunities and boost the growth of the AAM ecosystem.
As part of the agreement, the two companies will share information and discuss routes, cabin configurations, and customer experience to optimize end-customer satisfaction. The companies will also look for potential opportunities in the AAM business to attain mutual benefits and shared growth.
“We are excited to improve the satisfaction of our future passengers based on the infrastructure and data accumulated by MOVIATION,”said Braden J. Kim, CEO of PLANA. “We hope that this MOU will help us expand the domestic AAM market.”
“This partnership is very meaningful to us as two Korean startups have formed a cooperative relationship in the AAM market, which is dominated by various large companies,” said Shin Min, CEO of MOVIATION. “We hope it will send a message to all those involved in the industry to cooperate.”
